Open Day and Wimbledon Mens Final Social

The next Club Open Day starts at 11am on Sunday 5th July. Potential new members can come down and play tennis for free, meet the new Head Coach Andy Carey and take advantage of many discounts offered on the day!
Not only that but TV screens will be set up in the Clubhouse to watch the Wimbledon Mens Final! There'll also be a BBQ with beer, wine and soft drinks also available. Please see the flyer for more information!
Bellingham LTC awarded prestigious Clubmark

A top tennis executive recently flew in from the French Open championships in Paris to present Bellingham LTC with a nationally recognised award. Roger Draper, the Chief Executive of the Lawn Tennis Association, presented the club with the prestigious Clubmark award.
Roger, who was brought up in the Wigan area where his parents still live, presented the plaque and certificate to Club President Margaret Burrows, and said:
'The club and grounds have a very Mediterranean feel and there have been huge improvements since my last visit. I am pleased to hear of the professional and business-like way in which the club is managed and that the Junior Membership is thriving. I wish the club continuing success for the future.'
Only 400 of the 2800 tennis clubs in the UK (or 14%) have been awarded Tennis Clubmark status, recognising Bellingham LTC's excellence in providing tennis facilities, programmes and club management to LTA standards.
Runners-Up in NW Manchester 13U Winter League

Bellingham Juniors finished joint 1st in the North-West Manchester 13U Junior Winter League. The League took place throughout the winter season and final round matches were played at the Bolton Arena on 15th March. Holcombe Brook finished joint top with Bellingham but won the league due to a better game difference.
Adam Britton has done a presentation of the event and prize giving! There are also some photos from the event here. Well done to all the Bellingham Juniors who took part!
Easter American Tournament

This is a fun, social tournament taking place on Easter Monday (13th April) and is open to everyone in the Club. Enjoy a great afternoon of tennis, followed by a family BBQ. The cost is £5.00 per person and the price includes organised tennis, refreshments and BBQ.
To help with numbers members are asked to pay in advance and to put their names onto the entry form located next to the events calendar in the clubhouse or send an email to bellinghamltc@hotmail.com

On Friday 10th April (1:30 - 3:30pm) the Club is hosting an Open Day where anyone can come down and play tennis for FREE! All Juniors will receive a FREE tin of balls and New Members will receive an on the day discount with up to 33% off Membership categories!

Website Updates for 2009

The website has been updated for the coming season with the addition of 'Events' and 'Photos' sections also with many aesthetic changes! Also the 'Tennis Club Locations' (link at the bottom of every page) has been revamped and features a Google Map of all the Tennis Clubs in the Warrington League. This map is now embedded in the website and is essential if you're having trouble finding a venue for a league match!
